The VHT VT-Twenty M (VT-Twenty M) turns the traditional hybrid-amp formula around, combining a digital preamp, multiple amp models and built-in effects with two 6V6 valves, an output transformer and real valve power.

The VT-Twenty M is particularly impressive for clean, classic and low-to-mid-gain tones, with natural-feeling tube modes and a strong crunch sound. The higher-gain models are less convincing, while the cabinet-simulation routing has some limitations. However, the effects—especially the reverbs and delays—sound surprisingly good.
